Feasibility
Studies - The most effective way possible to evaluate
in advance the amount of money that can be raised. It also establishes
both strong and weak points in the salability of the project and
the organizations "case for support". At the same time it defines
a time phased plan outlining in detail what will be needed to
complete a successful project.
Capital
Campaign Management - We would assume full responsibility
for the development and implementation of a time phase campaign
plan of action including preparation of the case statement, recruitment
& training of campaign leadership, solicitation of key prospects
and conducting timely report meetings.
Annual
Campaign Management - A successful annual campaign is
the lifeblood of any organization. We develop direct mail program,
special events and major gift solicitation plans including the
preparation of marketing materials to be used in the organization's
ongoing development effort.
Solicitor
Training - We train volunteers in the art of soliciting
major gifts. We deal with issues such as the difference between
seeking a significant gift and simply a ticket to special event,
where to conduct the meeting with the prospect, who should be
involved, how much time to be spent, what to do if prospect responds
at an unrealistically low level and how to leave the donor with
a positive feeling even if the gift does not come up to the solicitor's
expectations.
Strategic
Planning - Creating the environment for a fundraising
campaign is critical to its success. We work with the leadership
in developing a list of tasks with corresponding responsibilities
and time line which must be accomplished in connection with and
typically leading up to a fundraising campaign.
Board
Development - A strong and motivated Board is integral
to the viability of any organization and critical to the success
of its fundraising efforts. Working closely with staff and board
leadership, we create a job description for the role of a board
member and a methodology for the identification, education, cultivation
& ultimate recruitment of candidates in a position to advance
the goals of the organization.
